Similar to the recent CMG write up - LULU, a momentum stock, slid hard along with all the momentum stocks from its highs. It stopped exactly at an absolutely crucial level (you will see why). Unlike CMG, management is new and still needs to prove itself. I have the following observations:
Diagnosis? The sell off in LULU started well before the recent mini tech correction. Its woes started early Dec 2013 with two consecutive major gap downs. Since then it tried twice to rally but failed. For all intents and purposes it has gone nowhere since Feb 2014.
Where to from here? Since the fundamentals are iffy at best, I can't rely on them to drive the price higher. I am then left with trying to trade the technicals:
